Fitting and use

Compare the illustrated taper dimensions with the container neck and the airlock stem before purchase. For active fermentation, use a suitable airlock rather than sealing the opening with the plug cap. Clean and sanitise appropriately before use. Demijohn and airlock are supplied separately. The supplier lists this model for the 5L plain and swing-top demijohns. The screw-cap version needs the separate 28/26mm bung.
