Check compatibility
Check both finished connections against your pipe, hose or mating fitting before ordering. Pipe and hose are not included. Assemble and check all threaded and hose connections before turning on the water; use suitable hose fastening where required. The 20mm MDPE end uses compression for matching MDPE pipe; it is different from a 20mm irrigation-pipe barb. The STR16 source also calls this a fitting for nominal ½″ irrigation pipe. Check your pipe specification and fitted size rather than treating the nominal name as a measured internal diameter.
